About Me

Josie Beaumont in three minutes...

I am a 27 year old women who often can't remember how old I am when I'm asked. I am Canadian and believe I live in the most beautiful place in the whole world. I am always distracted by the flower section but would always prefer to go pick wildflowers, instead. I love having picnics and sending mail. 

I graduated from BYU-Idaho with a double degree in Early Childhood Special Education and Elementary Education. I am currently studying at UNBC to earn my masters of Special Education. I adore teaching small children with big spirits. I get to teach them and they are always, always teaching me. I love finding friends I feel like I've known forever. And Prayer is what holds my life together. I love practicing yoga and hold self-compassion very dear. 

I am Mormon. I love my family and especially love the feeling of home and have learned that home is rarely a place. In my opinion, bowties are the most handsome. Most often you'll find me in my nightgown, or a dress or a skirt. My favourite book is Stargirl and I have a very large, lovely collection of children's books. I love having teaparties, dressing up, painting and floral design. I also sell cosmetics and custom hand lettering. 

  I am happy and content and married to the kindest, most gentle man I have ever met. I love him more and more everyday. We have lived in  four different places together so far and have been married for almost four beautiful years. He brings out the absolute best in me. A simple life is the way to go-even though I am fully aware that sometimes it just can't be that way.  I think freckles are beautiful and hair is most lovely after a long day at the beach. Pearls are the epitome of elegance, and there is nothing more romantic than paper lanterns in the night sky.
