Meredith's book bag was full of surprises for me this afternoon. One of which was:

A Candy Cane.

Did you know peppermint actually increases function in the brain? 

True fact, I learned it here at University. 

So, what have I been doing all evening at the library? 

Sucking on that white and red delight and getting smarter by the second. 

And also, peppermint always reminds me of the gem of a movie, Anastasia, so that makes me happy, too.

Today my teacher announced we have exactly nineteen days of class left. 

Oh my, Christmas!

Can't wait for those gingerbread ladies. Can't wait for the Christmas tree. Can't wait to listen to Donny Osmond's Holiday tunes. Can't wait to roll up in a blanket on my orange chair and read "The Jolly Christmas Postman." Can't wait to be home. 

The Guitar Fiasco

I've visited a real recording studio in Canada once in high school. If you're wondering what they look like in Idaho, here it is! 

Magical, yes? 

There are some strengths and weaknesses of recording 
in the washroom:

Weaknesses: Others may knock on the door and be surprised when they find you with your guitar in the bathtub, the singers may get overheated in the small space, there's really no place to put your camera, strange looks from vistors, there may be a dripping sound in the background, and well lastly...

it is a washroom! Not the most classy.

Strengths: Wonderful acoustics for singing(singing in the shower, anyone?) and giggling, can easily be decorated with Christmas lighting.

If my calculations are correct...the strengths outweigh the weaknesses (I am very academic after midterm).
 Washroom recording is the best recording. 
How fun!
