After class, my professor approached me and said, "Josie, do you have a few minutes?
Can I talk to you privately in my office?"

I'm thinking it will be like this:
"Josie, I've been talking with the rest of the faculty about you. You are late everyday for my class. You run up the hill minutes after you've woken up and disturb my class when you come in.  Many times you ask your classmates for a paper and pen to take notes. And you missed an assignment.
What are you going to do about this?"
What she actually said:
"Josie, I've been talking to the rest of the faculty about you. We have noticed that you are very on top of things and reliable. We have been looking for someone from your major. We noticed you know many of your classmates and are very knowledgeable about the details of your major. I thought of you instantly. Would you be interested in taking a job at the field services office as a secretary?"
1st thought: Do you have the right Josie? 2nd thought: I need to stop being so hard on myself. 3rd thought: I can't wait to dress like a secretary everyday!
I went to the office yesterday. I decided I needed to look sharp. As soon as the employer saw me she was delighted and set up an interview for tomorrow! Zipadeedoodah. I may soon be
a high rollin' money makin' college student secretary.

I'm so happy today.
(click above!)
We had all afternoon after Church to do my favourite
Sunday things.
I wrote letters to people I adore. I found the exact number of stamps for each letter hidden away in my room.
I instantly felt warm, full and better.
I taught a sweet young woman about the Gospel at her apartment.
It was warm and true.
I shared my most special thoughts. My most precious beliefs.
Then, we went singing.
Just like we used to last semester at the Senior's Home.
The men and women sang along to the hymns.
Could there ever be a better way to touch a heart
than by song?
Afterwards I told the prettiest, tender little lady how beautiful she is.
She beamed.
Then I heard the most divine news from a friend-
I laughed and cried all at once!

"I said unto you that I had spent my days in your service, I do not desire to boast, for I have only been
in the service of God." Mosiah 2:16

There is no end to hope, there is no end to love.
Happy day. Let your light shine, shine, shine.
It feels glorious.

 Thank the heavens above...
I finished my Children's book assignment-
Where Billy the black bear was looking for winter clothes to stay awake all winter. Silly Billy. What was he thinking!
Wouldn't it be splendid to have a nice long, warm winter in my nightgown each and every day?
(Maybe when I'm 97).
I admit homework can be a bit...dreadful.
But oh happy day when something is accomplished,
yes?!

...Sneak Peak, perhaps?
Down the street and around the corner he found Jilly the jackrabbit with her ears pointed to the sky. “Jilly, I am going to stay awake all winter. But I don’t have any winter clothes!” Jilly the jackrabbit smiled and jumped down her hole. “Here Billy. You can borrow my extra jacket.”

...a big Happy Birthday to sweet little cousin.
What a truly magical little lady you are.
Nine lovely years,
and just as much pixie dust as ever.
