Carly's race with Team Diabetes Canada is tomorrow! At approximately 4:00am (Saturday August, 20th) Kenora-time we will be awake cheering on my dear sister in Reykjavik, Iceland.

I am so proud of her!
She has fundraised $6, 100 throughout the year. Thank you to all who donated. What is so wonderful about Carly Beth is although she is afflicted with diabetes in her own life, she most definitely did not raise that money selfishly. She lives with diabetes every day of her life and she knows how it feels. She raised that money for research and awareness. Maybe someday another 23 year old doesn't have to feel like that. She's running tomorrow for them. Whoever they may be...
And that is amazing.
